It is really important that you continue to take photographs over the summer holidays to maintain all of the skills which you've learnt this year.
I would therefore like you to complete one of the tasks below over the summer holiday.
Option 1: Pick a colour and take 20 photographs which include your chosen colour in some way. Remember to use compositional guidelines in your photographs in order to make them visually appealing to your viewer. The entire photograph does not have to only be that colour, it should just be included or represent it. Upload your photographs as a gallery to the 'extra photos' page of your site under the title of the colour you have chosen. Want to challenge yourself? Try taking 5 photographs for each colour of the rainbow and display them in a contact sheet with 5 columns.
Option 2: Take one photograph for each of the themes in the grid below. How you choose to interpret the themes is completely up to you. Remember to use compositional guidelines in your photographs in order to make them visually appealing to your viewer. Upload your photographs as a gallery on the 'extra photos' page of your site and add a caption under each photograph with the theme you chose.
Want to challenge yourself? Add 5 of your own themes to the list.
Option 3: Walk somewhere without your camera and look for photographs that you could take on your journey. When you reach your destination, walk back over the same route while still looking for photos. Get your camera and go on the walk again, capturing at least 20 photographs from your chosen route. Upload your photographs as a gallery on the 'extra photos' page of your site underneath the title of where you went for your walk.
Want to challenge yourself? Do this task twice with two different routes.
