You can see in the image to the right how the marks out of 24 represent each grade from 1-9, but remember that because each of the assessment objectives receives its own mark you could end up having one AO much higher than another.
Say, for instance, you did exceptionally well in artist research, but didn't get around to developing any of your ideas. You might have a score of 18 for AO1 (which is a grade 8), but only 7 for AO2 (which is grade 3) and come out with a grade 5 overall. This is why it is so important to ensure that there is evidence for all four assessment objectives in your portfolio. As you can see, you should aim to achieve a 'moderate' mark in all of the assessment objectives to be awarded a grade 4. |
