Task 2:
Green (grade 1/2) a) Write at least one sentence about what you think the purpose of a film poster is. (You can use Google to research your answer but remember that you must reword what you find so that it is in your own words.) b) Underneath write another couple of sentences explaining how to make a successful film poster in order to attract an audience (again, please write this in your own words - do not copy and paste from this or any other website) Example: 'The purpose of a film poster is to advertise a new movie. The poster lets the audience know the title, what the movie is going to be about, when it is going to be released and who the main actors that are in the film. A successful poster is eye-catching and visually interesting in order to attract people to watch the movie.' c) Find two or more examples of film posters which you think have been successful to illustrate your ideas. Upload them underneath your writing, Amber (grade 3/4) As with the green task but go into more detail so that you write a short paragraph about how to make a successful film poster: - What must the creators consider when making their poster? - What might they try to avoid? Red (grades 5+) Complete the green and amber tasks but also add a caption to the 2 posters you think have been successful explaining why you have chosen them: - What makes them successful? - What techniques have they used to attract their audience? |
