The first step in this 'refinement cycle' is to complete another photoshoot linked to your idea.
By completing another photoshoot you can ensure that the photographs which you are working with are exactly as you wish them to be. This might mean taking similar photographs to the ones you took last time, or taking photographs which are different depending on how you would like to improve your concept. |
Red (grades 5+)
Take as many photographs as you wish, try to execute your idea the best you can (remember - quality over quantity!) You may wish to take additional photos at home to develop your idea further. To be successful you will need to: - Vary each idea, try different techniques, colours, compositional guidelines etc. - Your photos should build on one another - each time getting better and showing stronger skills - Consider how you will edit your photographs after you have taken them as this will change how you take them. |
Task 2:
Green / Amber Open the best photo in Affinity (or another app like Canva or Photopea if this is more appropriate for you) and edit your photographs to enhance them. - You can also edit your photographs manually by ripping, cutting, sewing, printing etc. if this is appropriate for your idea. - How you choose to do this will depend on the idea you are developing, feel free to ask me or find YouTube tutorials to help you if you are unsure of how to edit your photos. |
