At school you have picked a second idea to develop into another final outcome in response to the theme you have chosen.
You will continue to refine your idea at school but I would also like you to complete a photoshoot at home to support the development of your project since you have access to a range of different locations, props, costumes etc outside of the school setting. Your shoot should be linked to the same idea that you are developing at school. Choosing the same idea will allow you to explore it in more depth and give you a better chance to fully refine your work.
Green (grade 1-3) a) Complete one shoot where you take 8 photographs inspired by the idea you are exploring. b) Upload your photos to your site as a contact sheet underneath your initial shoot for idea 2. c) Put a title above your gallery of 'Supporting Photoshoot - Idea 2'. d) Choose your best two photos from your shoot and display them side by side, in large, underneath your contact sheet.
Amber (grade 4-5) a) Complete one shoot where you take 12photographs. - Think about lighting, (time of day if using natural lighting) angles, the overall composition of your images, your choice of model, costume, props and background. - Ensure that all of your photographs are in focus, and have used camera settings appropriately. b) Upload your photos to your site as a contact sheet underneath your initial shoot for idea 2. c) Put a title above your gallery of 'Supporting Photoshoot - Idea 2'. d) Choose your best two photos from your shoot and display them side by side, in large, underneath your contact sheet. Red (grades 6+) a) Create a quick photoshoot plan for your idea b) Take as many photographs as you wish, try to execute your idea the best you can (remember - quality over quantity!) - Think about lighting, (time of day if using natural lighting) angles, the overall composition of your images, your choice of model, costume, props and background. - Ensure that all of your photographs are in focus, and have used camera settings appropriately. - Try to vary the angles from which you take your photographs, how close you are to your subject, which parts of the scene you are zooming in on etc. in each of your photos. c) Upload your photos to your site as a contact sheet underneath your initial shoot for idea 2. d) Put a title above your gallery of 'Supporting Photoshoot - Idea 2'. e) Choose your best two photos from your shoot and display them side by side, in large, underneath your contact sheet.
