Now that you have explored a variety of possibilities and picked your favourite idea to develop further, you need to complete a photoshoot linked to your idea so that you have a strong starting point to work with.
Even though you have created sketches to show how your idea might look, it is important to thoroughly plan your photoshoot to get a good idea of details such as lighting, props, backgrounds, models and techniques. |

Take as many photographs as you wish, try to execute your idea the best you can (remember - quality over quantity!) You may wish to take additional photos at home to develop your idea further. To be successful you will need to: - Vary each idea, try different techniques, colours, compositional guidelines etc. - Your photos should build on one another - each time getting better and showing stronger skills - Consider how you will edit your photographs after you have taken them as this will change how you take them. |
Task 2:
a) Open the best photo in Affinity (or another app like Canva or Photopea if this is more appropriate for you) and edit your photographs to enhance them. - You can also edit your photographs manually by ripping, cutting, sewing, printing etc. if this is appropriate for your idea. - How you choose to do this will depend on the idea you are developing, feel free to ask me or find YouTube tutorials to help you if you are unsure of how to edit your photos. |
