Now that you have fully developed your idea for a final outcome, you should finalise your ideas by creating a plan for what you will create.
This will help you remain focused while creating your first final outcome and ensure that your work remains linked to the themes of your project - the more prepared you are to begin creating your work, the fewer surprises you'll have while creating it. It's also a chance to double check that your outcome is going to look the way you intend it to and to know what problems you might face (and how you might solve them) when creating your final CD cover. |
Task 1: Create a final piece plan for your CD cover. It could be digital or made by hand and could include the following: - A rough sketch of how your final piece will look (this is a great chance to double check your composition/layout) - Swatches demonstrating the colour scheme you intend to use - Final experiments with the techniques you might use - Notes on the media you have chosen - Explanation of how your idea links to the artists you have researched throughout the project Task 2: Upload your final outcome plan (or a photograph of it) to your site underneath the title 'Final CD Cover Plan'. |

Take as many photographs as you wish, try to execute your idea the best you can (remember - quality over quantity!) You may wish to take additional photos at home to develop your idea further. To be successful you will need to: - Vary each idea, try different techniques, colours, compositional guidelines etc. - Your photos should build on one another - each time getting better and showing stronger skills - Consider how you will edit your photographs after you have taken them as this will change how you take them. |
