In GCSE Photography you will be creating your digital portfolio using Google Sites. I have already created a site for you and shared it with you so that you can begin exploring how to edit it today.
You can access your site at any time by going to your Google Drive.
To get to your Drive, go to the Google Home Page (google.com) and click on the App icon in the top right hand corner which looks like a selection of squares.
A list of Google apps will appear, including Drive. Click on Drive to go to the Drive Home Page.
Along the left hand side of the page you will see a menu which includes a link to the 'Shared with me' section of your Drive.
A link to your site will always be saved there, so whenever you need to update your portfolio this is where you should look to find it.
To personalise your site, please watch my video tutorial and complete the following tasks:
1. Change the name on your site
2. Change the names underneath the photos on your home page to: - Basics - Alive - Distortion (CD covers)
3. Delete the extra photos on your home page
4. Add a quote to the footer of your site
5. Change the 'pages' of your site so that you have the following pages: - Home - Basics - Alive - Distortion - Extra Photos (if you would like)
6. Experiment with the theme of your site (please remember to keep your background white)
