Experimentation is an incredibly important part of any project. It shows the examiner that we are willing to take risks and try out a variety of possibilities before narrowing down our ideas.
At home you have already been experimenting with how reflections and plastic can distort your subject. During your next couple of lessons you will continue experimenting, this time using digital editing techniques to create a glitch effect on your photographs. |
Green (grade 1/2)
Using one of your photographs, complete 2 different glitch edits, changing the amount or direction of the glitch. Amber (grade 3/4) Use two different photos from the same or different photo shoots. Complete 2 or more different glitch edits changing the amount or direction of the glitch on each of the photos (you will then have at least 4 glitch experiments in total). Red (grades 5+) Use three different suitable photographs and complete 2 or more different glitches on each of them (creating at least 6 different experiments in total). Edit each of your experiments further using saturation, exposure, and any other suitable adjustments. |
