The aim is to take at least 3 photo shoots in one lesson using the Disturbing Mood Board that you created last lesson as inspiration along with the video.
Depending on the size of the class you will be put into pairs/ and if required you will also be placed into two groups. Task 1 Watch the video and note down 3 techniques you might like to try at school and/or at home. |

a) Complete any incomplete work from last week - Artist Mood Board, Mind Map and Disturbing Mood Board - see last weeks lessons for more details. b) Watch the video opposite for more ideas on lighting c) Add a title - name of the technique e.g. Horror Lighting Mood Board or Ghostly images. d) Create a mood board of 8+ images using either the Horror Lighting video or one of the techniques from the Halloween Photography Video as inspiration for your initial photoshoot at home. |

Task 1: a) Create a new folder in your documents inside Y10 Photography and add the name of the photoshoot - 'Disturbing Photoshoot' and upload your photos into the folder. b) Upload the photos from your folder to your Y10 Photography folder in your Google Drive. c) On your site write a title underneath your Disturbing Mood Board - 'Disturbing Photoshoot 1' d) Upload your photographs in rows of four onto your site, screenshot the photos & upload your contact sheet as one image - you should save your named screenshot into your folder for safe keeping. Task 2: Underneath your photos, annotate your shoot answering the following questions: - How did you take your photos, what props/lighting/aperture/shutter speed did you use and why? - Did you try to create a mood/atmosphere through the facial expression/pose /lighting? How? - What are the strengths of your photos and why? - If you were to complete your shoot again, what would you do differently to improve your shots? Add a text box underneath your gallery contact sheet of at least one of your shoots and explain/annotate what is interesting about 1 or more of the images in a couple of sentences on your page. You can use one or more of the sentence starters below to help you: Task 3: a) Edit a least one photo per shoot using either digital software and/or hand manipulation b) Upload and present your edited response underneath your contact sheet.
