Task 1:
Watch the video to learn more about the different compositional guidelines. Make notes on a scrap piece of paper if you feel this will help you remember the compositional techniques later on. |
|
Task 2:
a) Use a divider on your site to make a little bit of space under your work from last lesson as this is a new section of work. b) Write the title Composition. c) Write a brief definition of what Composition is (you can Google this as long as you rewrite whatever you find in your own words). c) Open a Google Slide and write the title 'Composition'. |
Green (grade 1/2)
Download the PowerPoint template and reupload it to your Google Drive to make it a Google Slide (watch the video for help with this). Add one suitable photograph to your first slide to illustrate each guideline. Write the guideline you are illustrating underneath (as you can see in my example). Don’t worry about the other pages on the PowerPoint just yet, we will be using those in later lessons. |

Amber (grade 3/4)
Create your own Slide layout and find two examples for each guideline. Ensure that your page is well laid out with even margins and a clear title. Red (grades 5+) As with the amber task, but add a sentence underneath each example briefly explaining what each of the compositional elements is. |
