Here’s an example of a relatively empty photo, but look at how much fuller the frame is and how your eye still goes straight to the subject when you add a frame around your subject. Whatever you choose to frame your subject with can also help you to tell a story about the subject of your photograph, so choose wisely. |
Task 3:
a) Select your favourite photo and open it in Affinity Photo. b) Crop this image to enhance the composition of your photo. c) Go to filter at the top of the page and choose one that you think makes the photo look effective. d) Then edit the brightness/contrast by going to Adjustments, Brightness and Contrast. e) Export the photo as a PNG or Jpeg with the title 'Framing - first edit'. f) Repeat with your second favourite photo and export with the title 'Framing - second edit'. Task 4: a) Underneath where you have displayed your two best shots, put a new title of 'Framing Edits' b) Upload your edited photos side by side and then explain what you did using key words. |
